Attractions
Alone in your voyage of discovery or exploring the islands in a group – Seychelles has attractions aplenty. Besides the sun, sand and sea and the chance to indulge in island hopping, there are several outstanding natural and man-made attractions in Seychelles that you could enjoy.
Among the most popular activities here are walking around Praslin's renowned Vallée de Mai, where the legendary Coco de mer grows high on ancient palms. You could also visit the many national monuments, out-of-the-way art galleries, craft shops and restaurants, old Creole-style plantation houses, scenic viewpoints and natural wonders on land and sea.
Seychelles is also a living museum of natural history – from the smallest frog to the heaviest land tortoise and the only flightless bird in the Indian Ocean. The islands are a bird-watcher's paradise – and home to rare birds such as the Seychelles paradise flycatcher and the Seychelles warbler.
